Temporary Space Usage

Denali Commercial Management, Inc. (DCM) recognizes the value to our customers and community that derives from the open exchange of ideas and opinions. As a member of the community, DCM will accommodate individual expression on its properties within the limits prescribed by business purposes.

Organizations can apply for temporary use of space at any of the locations listed below. Application forms are available for nonprofit and for-profit organizations.

Message Center

The Mall at Sears message center (located on the Seward Highway) is available for non-profit organizations who want to get their message out to the people of Anchorage.

Due to the overwhelming response we receive from non-profit groups and as a result of federal and municipal regulations which impact the operation of the sign, there are a few things we need you to keep in mind as you are submitting your message:

Please limit your message to 12 -15 words including the location where the event is to be held (no phone numbers in the message please).

• Avoid requesting consecutive dates for your message to run as we like to keep material fresh. Instead, indicate the week/weeks you would like your message to run (i.e. week of March 21-28). Your message will then be placed on rotation basis during that week with other non- profit messages, provided space is still available.
• Submit your message as soon as possible. A one week lead-time is required and your may apply up to three (3) months in advance of the first day you request your message to run.
• Messages will be placed on a first come, first serve, space available basis.

We must also restrict messages to those which are non-political in nature. In addition, the Mall at Sears also reserves the right to refuse to display any message that feels is inappropriate for display for any reason.
